We will have the final run-through at 2:30 Saturday afternoon and the buses will be leaving at 3:00 p.m.
The loading crew needs to be at the school at 1:30 to load the trucks.
We will wear our uniforms to and from the competition since we are the last band to perform in competition. Please wear your field show t-shirt under your uniform.
Also please take note for next week:
We will not have band practice on Monday, Oct 13 as the students do not have school that day.
We will also not have practice on Tuesday, Oct. 14. We have the opportunity to do some great PR and recruiting with a performance at Chelsea MS on Thursday, Oct 16 at 7:00 p.m. in between the MS 7th & 8th grade football games. It is their last games of the year. Each HS band student must meet at the middle school with their instrument and/or equipment. Please park at the far end of the track near the old elementary/intermediate school car rider line. We will warm-up on the track at 6:30 p.m. We will perform for the middle school crowd, recognize the 8th grade marchers and then leave. This will take the place of Tuesday's practice. We will have regular marching band practice from 3:30-5:30 on Thursday too.
Keyboard percussion and tubas will be transported by trailer from the HS to the MS.
Our uniform will be field show t-shirt, shorts and tennis shoes. If you can come and help transport instruments and equipment it would be greatly appreciated! We are trying to save money by not renting an equipment truck or use buses.
